Need some tips regarding 750T springbars....

    Hello all!

I recently became the proud owner of a SUB 750T Professional-what a masterpiece!

One thing I find a bit problematic, though, is to put the bracelet back on after having worn the watch on other (it came with the orange OEM rubber, and I immideately had to get the black OEM and an Benarus "iso-lookalike"- my wife is now convinced I'm mad!) straps.

The springbars seem unable to so to speak reach the holes in the watchcase, and the only springbars that works have gotten the tips slightly bent from the efforts of fitting the bracelet.

Because of this, I got a few spare springbars, but they seem impossible ti fit without using excessive violence.

So, have anyone else experienced this, and if so, what is the remedy?

    Cheers!

Yes I had the same problem with my 750T Searambler. I had to take it into a watch repair shop and have them fit spring-bars on the watch. My spring bars wear also bent and had completely falling off my wrist from just wearing the watch. Doxa will also send you some spring bars for a charge.

I have my local watchmaker do all of the strap changes to my 750's for the reasons you and Orange mention. A lot of guys do damage to these if you're not careful. The 750T end links are quite different than its predecessor:

I see your point! It is almost as if they are a bad fit endlinks/springbarholes...
