Smile A new Doxa Owner Anxiously Waits

Hey Doxa forum folks. Been lurking in the shadows here for a couple of weeks trying to figure out which one of these gorgeous watches I should make the leap at. Orange being my favorite color I first went straight at them. But then the blue faced 1000t caught my eye and I didn't look back.

so over the weekend I posted a WTB ad over in the sales forum and had some great responses. I ended up going with a Sub 1000t Tusa model. Money has exchanged electronic hands and now I wait. Luckily the fine gentleman i dealt with knows all to well that waiting for a new watch is HAAARRDDD. So he tossed in next day air free of charge. Now I only have to wait a day instead of 2 to 3. EGADS!!!

Can't wait to strap this one on my wrist and get it wet. First trip is next month to CAbo San Lucas for my honeymoon. Snorkling and surfing daily should baptize this beauty the right way.

    pics will be coming shortly.

Sweet! Congratulations on a great pickup. I've never seen a Tusa, except in photos, but I really dig the pics.

When you're in Cabo, take a resort scuba dive and really break it in. But then you may just be signing up for a new expensive hobby.

Congrats. I have slowly (and then a bit more quickly) migrated from the Omega Seamaster line to the Doxa 1000t line, with my 1000t Pro arriving today! I still love the SMPs and they are the most comfortable dive watches I own, but there is something about Doxa that does it for me.

    Congrats!!!
    That is a beaut.

I just purchased my first Doxa as well from a fellow member, and it is a TUSA as well.

Just wanted to share in the joy... well agony in my part of waiting for it to arrive.

    What number did you get?
    Mine is #5.

    Hey, congrats on your choice...

I just got my first one a couple of days ago (sub1000t sharkie) and the wait is hard, but rewarding in the end.
Go get som pictures when you've got it!
