Okay, I put off getting a Doxa for sometime because of "fear of the unknown". I have only seen Doxas online and had never seen or held one in person. I must say when my Tusa arrived, this past week, I was surprised. The fit, finish and quality is superb. Very impressive dial color and hands. I love the braclet, very comfortable. The watch is nice and balanced on the wrist. I'll confess, I haven't been diving in years and suspect this watch will only see water when I hit the pool or walks along the Oregon coast.
I have now ordered the Doxa book and can't wait to read up on these most sought after watches. Out of my 25 years of collecting I have now found a brand (Doxa) that I can rest my hat on and truely enjoy and buy more pieces without clearing out the retirement account. I am looking forward to buying another Doxa, any thoughts which should be my next? My parameters aren't to difficult - I want watch that I can wear 24/7, in the office as well as out. That's it, simple huh. The Tusa is fitting that role well. I am thinking about the SUB 5000T Seaconqueror Sharkhunter. Love the dial and change of bracelet. Now to save up!
I have to thank everyone that posts here for all of their inputs, comments, histories and stories of their watches. Owning a Doxa makes me feel like I am part of a very special group of watch owners. A closer, tighter community of owners. A group of people who take their watches seriously.
I will find time here in the near future and post photos up on the forum of my Tusa.
