    New Sub 1000T owner

Ok, here it goes. I sold my 750T of which I was the second owner to free up funds for another watch. After selling two of my boutique watches I then bought a brand new 1000T with the black face. Dispite the delay in shipping due to the volcanic activity in Iceland, my watch still took only three days to be delivered from my second home county of Switzerland.

I thought that the smaller size in 42mm would be difficult to overcome, especially being used to the 44 and 45mm size divers and my previous 750T. That wasnt the case and I am just so happy with this watch.

My likes are this: Great size, excellent fit and finish, wears so compfortably, lume is outstanding, accuracy is impecable, great legibility, love the slightly dommed crystal and have recieved many comments on it.

The only dislike I can come up with is that if I had a choice I would have prefered a gloss dial rather than the matt dial.

Dispite the problems that many have had concerning the crown needing to be turned opposite the direction to catch the thread.....so far not on mine. Screws down easily without any problems.

Here are some quick shots of it. As I was told by Doxa, mine is supposed to be one of two remaining if not the last of the black faced 1000T's available. Im glad to have purchased one in brand new condition so that I am the first and only owner of it and that all the scratches, dings and bumps are from me only. I really don't intend to sell this one since I was looking for a keeper and this is it.

I did the same thing you did. Had the 750 and ...

...ended up with my Sharkhunter 1000T . I really like this size alot more as I have a smaller wrist. Also think your orange minute hand is a GREAT variant. Big Congrats -Ronbo

Congrats! Glad to hear you love the watch
I also love the size and how comfortable it wears on the wrist (have a 1200t but shouldn't be much difference)
Excellent pics, looks great on you btw.

Thats another detail that Doxa should bring back is the tapered width bracelet as on your vintage. Looks great and classy.
