    New Sub! no it's not a 300 ;)

For something different, While everyone is receiving their shiny new 300's, I took advantage of the black Friday discount to pick up a 800ti :)
I had been seriously considering the 300 but the 800's adjustable bracelet and being Titanium were a major draw card for me.
As a rule I don't like bracelets but I have to say the one on the 800 is great. Glad I made the choice.
The size and lack of weight means it wears very nicely.
Just in time to give it it's first saltwater bath on Thursday :D

If I get another Doxa the 800Ti would be my choice.

    Hey, great looking watch!
The 300 50th are great for collectors, and they did a great job recreating the legend, but with me only having one, a 1500 pro, I will more than likely get the 1200 Sharkie when I buy again!
The 800 ti looks great! Congrats!

With that titanium case and the tritium tubes that glow all night long, and of course the 44.7 mm diameter, that SUB 800Ti is buffed big brother of the Doxa family. Good looking watch, nice ratcheting bracelet, and a Black Friday discount = score! Congrats, you'll enjoy it for a lifetime!

Well it's been about 6months now and I have to say Doxa make a great watch. Worn 24/7 it gains less than a second a day. Its been with me on a few snorkelling trips now, Outdoor Ed camps and came across Australia with me on a road trip plus the daily grind. The Titanium and ratchet clasp came into their own in Melbourne during my trip. Days straight of ~34+ degrees C with about 1000% humidity walking around all day exploring, ratchet clasp all the way out, even with the heat I barely knew I had it on. Tritium has quickly become my favourite lume. It also gets plenty of attention from the students at the High School I work at. No joke, I wore something else to school for the first time today this year (my other two watches have been sitting neglected in the watchbox) and within 10mins I had a student ask "where is your orange watch sir' ha!

Orange as an everyday watch? Gets my vote!

Of course a thread is useless without pics ;)
