    Newest Diver and First Doxa!

Hey guys! Let me start by saying that as I got into this collection a couple years back I saw Doxa and loved them. I loved the history, the look, everything. Then I saw the size at 44.7mm (750t was selling then) and wrote them out as being too large for my girly wrists. I thought that anything over 40mm was pushing my limits. Since then I have gained tons of knowledge from you guys and have had the opportunity to try quite a few watches in many sizes. Still I had written out Doxa and just never really looked at them for me because in my head they were too big.

Fast forward to a few months ago when Doxa started their summer sale and came back up on the radar. Huh?...what's the 1000t? Just 42.7mm?..Hey, I can wear that. I've been wearing a 44mm Oris just fine. So it began, I spent hours and hours researching the different models, the sizes, the history and had narrowed my search down to a Tusa model or the caribbean. Either way I was going blue and to me, nothing screams Doxa like a cushion case with an orange minute hand and beads of rice bracelet, so the Tusa won out. Found an unworn one on the forums and jumped at the chance to own this limited edition. I know the blue is a little darker and some don't like all of the branding on the dial, but I love it. Of course I had to sell off a few pieces that I really enjoy but that's just par for the course.

I know I'm still in the honeymoon phase but so far I'm impressed. The beads of rice bracelet is extremely comfortable and other than the Oris, this is my first true cushion case. I feel like I've stepped back in time a bit and catch myself stopping when I walk by a mirror just to admire it on my wrist. The diameter and short lug to lug work well on my 6.75" wrist. Hopefully this will not be my last Doxa as I have been re-introduced to a great brand (that fits my wrist). I've got my eyes on a Searambler, oh and the Caribbean GMT looks good, and every collection has to have an orange Doxa right?...I mean, the list goes on and on. Anyways, enough rambling. On to the pics. Thanks for looking guys .

    Still wrapped and minty fresh!

    " For watches there's always TIME "

I was asked what the time was that was on my watch ?
Does anybody really know what time it is ?
    Does anybody really care ?
If so I can't imagine why..........
I do, I do, I do care about time.
