Only 500 T-Graphs. Why so many available?

Hello everyone. There are only 500 T-Graphs put there. 250 2005s and 250 2007s. So how come there is always some out there to buy at any given time?

If I paid $2000.00 or more for a nice T-Graph, I don't think I would flip it. So how come when there are so few of these beautiful watches out there, that you can always get one?

I believe that Doxa has a very specific customer. Doxa is not a household name, and many watches are sold online through WUS as well as quite a number of other online forums. There are many of these customers that are "chronic flippers". I know that I personally have sold a T-graph to fund another watch purchase (1200T DWL). There are quite a number of people that do the same thing. I did notice at the end of the sell-out of the 2005 models, the pre-owned supply did seem to dry-up a bit and prices increased several hundred dollars. I had wanted a 2005 T-graph Sharky, and had to pay darn near Doxa's retail price at the time to obtain one that wasn't even in mint condition.

I can tell you from previous experience..............Yes, the supply of T-graphs is not bad right now, but once they sell-out.........I don't believe Doxa is planning another diver chronograph in the near future........You had better get one while they are available at a decent price. They will not be plentiful forever.

Look how rarely a vintage T-graph comes available. Used 750Ts were once a dime-a-dozen. Now, they are much harder to obtain.

    Just my 2c worth.
    Best Regards,
    Jason

Excellent advice!! I remember when vintage Doxa divers of ANY type were fairly easy to obtain about 5-7 years ago on the net. Now trying to find a clean example is quite a task! And this from the guy who fished the silver dialed Conquistador out of fleabay for under a grand lol. Happy Hunting -Ronbo

Well, I guess that it must just be one of those times when the market has lots of watches available. I guess the market goes in ups and downs more than I thought.

    Thanks for you response.

Chronic flipping is your answer. I've been guilty of it myself at times.
