    Packaging for doxa

Has anyone in recent memory seen a Sub series packaged in something other than the "Tube?" I found someone who is trying to sell theirs and it is shown in a wooden box with leather trim with Doxa on the inside. Trying to figure out if this person is pulling a fast one of if it is legit.

My new Deco came in a nice wooden box with white leather trim... but both my subs have come in the standard tube.

Some SUBs were shipped in a wooden box but the people said.....NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! so Doxa went back to the tube.

Most likely legit. Several were shipped that way.

My Searambler came in the Box. I have mixed feelings about the tubes since they started using smaller tubes.

PS. The Box is more of what you'd expect with a watch of this price and quality. The tube is what you'd expect to see in a dive shop. Doxa's are going to be in brick and mortar Jewelry Stores so I'd expect to see the demise of the tube. When's the last time you bought your wife some earings or other jewelry and it came in an aluminum tube?

Yes, my 750 Pro came in a very nice wooden box. I was very surprised when I received it. Beautiful quality polished lacquer finish with supple white leather insert and trim. I know everyone likes the unique tube, I have both the tube and box packages, and comparing the two, I would say the box represents a way more quality look than the tube. The box is probably more expensive for Doxa to manufacture than the tube too.

Well if you buy the watch with the box and want a tube, I would rather have a box. Hit me up.

    Re: Packaging for doxa

I received a 750Pro in a box and was told in advance by Doxa that they had run out of tubes temporarily and were shipping in the boxes until the had a new supply. The boxes are nicer than the tubes and a lot of people on the forum were asking if they could buy a box (I don't remember anyone saying "no no" as in the previous post).

    It is legit.
