Smile Picture of my Newest Doxa

You know you're a Doxaholic when you need to replace your other dress watch with a Doxa. I found this one after patiently searching for at least a year. I now have an elegant, extra long leather band for it. I really like the classic face. The horizontal silver accents and the numerals are sharp. $72 on Ebay, I'm a happy man!

Nice guys, they both look NOS. Of course, you probably just doubled their value with dozens of WUS/WIS DOXAholics heading to the 'Bay to go fishing for one!

I'm watching for an antique Doxa pocket watch to add to my ensemble for CAS shooting I may try next year. Steve, if I recall, you do that. I may want to pick your brain a bit....
    Regards, T Bone.

Normally not my thing, but that really is an elegant watch. What a steal.

May I ask what model and what the size is? Movement?

Congrats on your patience paying off.

    Thanks Graeme!

Kev and Frogonwheels, yours are really fine looking old Doxa watches too! Very nice!

scm64: I don't know what model it is. I think it's from the early to mid 1970's but that's really just speculation on my part. The same goes for the movement. No idea. It runs really well so I'm not even planning on taking the back off. I'll take a picture of it next to my Sub 300T tomorrow so you can see the size....

TBone: I've been doing CAS for about 7 or 8 years now. I love it. Here's an article I wrote about it, feel free to ask me any questions you might have. http://www.hendonpub.com/publication...s.aspx?ID=4206

Re: Picture of my Newest Doxa

Here's the side by side shot. I raised the silver dial Doxa Automatic up with a bottle cap so it would be the same height at the Sub 300T. Otherwise, I couldn't get them both in focus. But this should show the circumferences of both watches. Enjoy!
