    Polished or brushed? -- How Do You Like Your Beads-of-Rice?

    It's been a while since we've had a poll and pics on this subject. Plus There are a lot of new forum members, so I'm just interested to hear what the majority opinion is.joe

    Joe, I am assuming that you are referring to the center-links or beads of rice being polished or brushed?? If so, I vote polished..................so that it resembles the vintage beads of rice.

    Brushed. Not a fan of the polished at all.

    You're correct Jason I probably should have been more specific. It's the first time I've tried a poll so I'll remember to be more precise the next time.
    BTW I like a mixture of brushed and polished surfaces on most watches.

    I don't like some of the Breitlings, because it is too much of a polished surface, but the Doxa 600T reissue is a really good mixture of polished/brushed surfaces......

    For me, it depends on the dial color. I like polished beads for the Pro and Divingstar, but brushed for the Sharkie and Caribbean.
