PVD coating on 5000 seaconqueror sharhunter military

I like the looks, but have no experience with PVD coating. Has anybody knowledge of this coating and scratch resistance? How fixable if it does get scratched?
    Thanks,

Unfortunately I don't have experience with the DOXA PVD finish so can not comment specifically on the durability of the PVD finish on the DOXA's.

PVD/DLC finish not really "fixable", you can only touch it up but this does not always look great. You'd need to have the whole watch professionally refinished to fix it correctly. As far as durability it can vary a LOT between manufacturers and production runs. Some scratch very easily and some stand up fairly well over time. Usually it's the bracelet, especially the clasp, that sees the majority of wear and scratches and can look really bad after some wear.

If you do a WUS search on "pvd scratches" you'll get a ton of useful information.

I've had a couple of PVD and DLC watches and have come to the conclusion that they are just not for me. I really like the look of PVD in photos but when the watch is on my wrist I don't like the look.

Anonsurfer is right. I should have done a WUS search. Will do.
