    Question to Doxa Re SUB5000T

Could you tell us all what 'goodies' the new SUB5000T will be shipped with?
I've seen mentioned the possibility of an included rubber strap, an instruction book, Doxa SUB patch.
I'm hoping that the fantastic alu tube will be retained!

**Just seen the new info posted Re the SUB500T on the Doxa website. Excellent!!!**

Re: Question to Doxa Re SUB5000T

While we are asking questions, I have a few...

Why SUB 5000T and not SUB 1500T, since all the others are in meters (and it's technically not 5000...more like 4920, but that wouldn't sound cool )?

Any chance of a Caribbean version?

Any chance of a Caribbean BEFORE the returning customer pricing expires?

Anyone want to buy a few lightly used Doxas to help me fund a few new ones !!!

    Jeremy

Hi Jeremy, the new naming convention is the indication for a new era of the DOXA SUB, where the bezel, the model name are indicated in non metric (imperial) system. This might also be a new door to a different European pure metric version of the future DOXA SUB.

BTW, The DOXA SUB5000T is tested to withstand the pressure of a minimum of 5000 feet.

A SUB5000T Caribbean is not planned yet, until you guys decide. Start a poll and let's see the results and I promise , we will do what you demand

As soon as I can figure out how to post a poll, I'll take care of that...

and for the depth rating, just having a little fun at your expense (sorry). I'm pretty sure I will never be THAT deep as to have to worry about it !!!

And if somehow you are that deep...I doubt that the watch you're wearing will be your primary concern.

If I understand, when you're saying " This might also be a new door to a different European pure metric version of the future DOXA SUB.
it give the hope to have a "full metric" future Doxa?
I really hope so, living in "old europe"

I agree with Piou: for us European guys, the metric system is the only fully comprehensive one...
Imperial system should convert into metric system, it would me easier for everybody, including the Doxa guys

I agree. Obviously the USA is a huge market for Doxa, and they would be foolish to ignore that, but the rest of the world pretty much hasn't used feet for at least decades if not much longer. In the interest of fairness, maybe metric and imperial options, but I recognise (sorry recognize for some) the production issues here. But hey, won't stop me buying one...or 5!
