Received my first DOXA - 750t GMT DS

Today I received my first DOXA, a 750t GMT Divingstar (Serial #501) via International Fedex. It was just delivered at work a couple hours ago, so no pics yet.

I started to write a brief review of initial impressions but think that I'll wait for a couple of days until my thoughts are better formed. I will say that it looks great, has a very solid feel, is very intriguing but not off-putting in any way whatsoever, and I can't stop looking at it.

I stopped at a locally owned clock/watch shop on the way home, which I had never been to, and got the bracelet resized. The guy that did the resizing was very interested in the watch (a Russian dude), and his comment was "Doxa… not a popular watch in the USA". My reply was, "that's one of the reasons I like it"! He asked about the movement, and looked at the watch for some time, clearly intrigued.

Anyway, I'll post some pictures and a real review in the next few days. For the moment though, I'm really digging it! The yellow/black/white dial along with the bezel/case/bracelet combination is pretty damn stunning…

Re: Received my first DOXA - 750t GMT DS

Just picked up one myself-I had sold another watch, trying to initially trade it toward a DS/Sharky GMT. No dice. So, sold a Pro GMT to get the DS GMT.

Just what I wanted, and it's great to have a DS back on the wrist. I have owned the 300T reissue DS, the 600T DS, and now, the GMT DS, which is my favorite of the bunch

    Best,

    Chris
