I owned a 5000t pro & I regret selling to this day. Their r some hardcore Doxa fans here so I'm sure they'll chime in but yes a 5000T is worth 1250.00 IMO.
    On D.com they start @ 2,490.00 + 25.00 SHIPPING.

The 5000t is a great watch. I owned a caribbean once and was very impressed. The only issue I had was that the hands/markers are awfully shiny -- a little too blingy for my taste.

I know price/worth of a watch is subjective, but if you've found a 5000T Carib. for $1250, that's a screamin' deal IMO. I took a chance on one last year thinking it would be too large for my wrist and I'd probably flip it, but I was completely blown away when it arrived. I loved everything about it except for the polished center links, but 2 minutes with a Scotch Brite pad took care of that. Plus, the ratcheting clasp is just icing on the cake.

If you like blue dial divers, buy it and don't look back.

Call it by its proper name: Seaconqueror Caribbean.
