    Thumbs Up Sharkhunter has landed...............

    Hi Guys
    My Sharkie arrived at 9:15am Friday. The watch is gorgeous and I'm extremely happy. Here's something that makes me even happier. In the box along with the watch was;

    An orange Doxa cap
A Doxa T shirt and best of all
Dr. Petes 40 years DoxaSub book

    Also one more surprise
    The black rubber strap(which I wasn't expecting)

The bracelet is nice, but as I'm a strap guy it's now on the watch and it looks great

Sorry but there will be no pics as my photography skills are zero. But everyone already knows what the Sharkie looks like.

I'm now a proud Doxa owner and I'm already thinking which one will be next. Maybe 750T Pro, or a 1000T Divingstar or a 1000T Caribbean or.....you get the idea.

Right now it's running at +2 seconds and that's good but I'll wait for a couple weeks before I do any serious timing.

Overall Doxa has done a wonderful job and now I understand why everybody raves about Doxa. :thanks Doxa.

Sorry, forgot the serial number. It's #1114/5000

    Warmest regards
    Bob:thanks

    :thanks Bo
Are you Air Force? I was stationed at Bitburg AFB form 1968 to 1970. I was aircraft hydraulic repair and worked on F4D phantoms.

    Re: Sharkhunter has landed...............

Guilty as charged. I started out APG on MC-130's. Being a 9-level I haven't turned wrenches on aircraft in a long time.

If you haven't been back since then you wouldn't recognize Germany. It's changed quite a bit from when I first moved here in 87. Since then Hahn, Rhein Main, Lindsay Air Station and Weisbaden's facilities have closed and gone back to German control. Bitburg and Sembach closed their runways and are now overflow housing for Spang and Ramstein. At the time of reunification in 1990 the Kaiserslautern Military Community had over 250,000 Americans living here, now there are only 38,000 (still way too many for me ).

Thank you Bob, for your service during a volitile time in European and World history. There's no doubt the world is a better place now and we owe it all to our NATO Cold War Warriors.

    Hi Guys,

Not a Doxa owner, but a big Dirk Pitt fan, so maybe one day. But I saw the thread, and wanted to thank both of you for your service.

Best wishes for a safe and happy Christmas.

I am envy of you Bob My 750T Sharkhunter arrived on Thursday and came with none of these (except for the rubber strap)

I asked Doxa to size the bracelet before shipping and they politely declined. Now I have a slightly scratched bracelet when I tried to do it myself

The watch ran 6 seconds fast for its first 12 hours my my wrist.

What have you done to deserve these VIP treatment?

What you don't realize is that Bob has been set up. Once he goes through that Doxa book even once, HE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HELP HIMSELF FROM BUYING A 2nd DOXA

Seriously, you must remember that there are now many different ways and places to get your Doxa watches. Almost Every day there is a new Retailer that seems to pop-up around here
    Best Regards,
    Jason
