some photos of 50th Anniversary SUB 300 Professional

I received a prototype SUB 300 Professional 50th Anniversary edition to review for a magazine while diving in a couple of weeks and thought I'd post a few photos I've taken since getting the watch. I hope they're useful for those who've been curious about the new pieces.

    With my old T.Graph:

    On my 7.5"/19cm wrist:

    On (my own) rubber NATO:

With a vintage BOR bracelet mounted (end links need tweaking):

    Lume:

I had the same thought, suspecting it's due to the lens effect of that vintage-style crystal.

Looks great, but you know I would honestly be just fine with a non lumed second hand like the original had.

Mighty sharp looking piece. Love the crystal, really like the smaller looking dial, unfortunately the lume is weak

Loving the distortion of that crystal from the side. Watch looks like it could fend off a great white shark with that metal surround. Old school -- well done Doxa and nice to see not just a nod to the past, but something quite similar to the original. How many watch companies are doing that nowadays?

Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Oris, Longines etc - there are many companies getting on the Vintage-Train nowadays and producing old design in modern watches...
