Some questions re: the Sub300 line ...

I'm only referring to recent models here, not vintage.

I see a handful of different Sub300 models on the site and used floating around the web.

Are the all of these Sub300s essentially the same except for dial printing, logos, and color?

    Thanks again,
    Chris

All the recent 50th anniversary 300s are the same except for dial color/printing.

300 *T* ones are different. Like recent 300T Divingstar Poseidon is based on the 1200.

Yeah it can get confusing with all the different numbers

Basically in 1967 doxa released the 300 for only 1 year this is the model the 50th anniversary watches are copied from which is why they also are call 300

One year later doxa replaced the 300 with the 300t which is what the 1200t is based on this is why the poseidon is also call 300t

Thx!! And I see several models on the site that are no longer available. Is that just until they replenish stock? Or are they all kind of single-run special editions?

Everything Doxa puts out now is ‘limited edition’, it’s not a mass market brand.

Some editions are larger, some smaller. Most of the 50th anniversary 300s have sold out in hours or days. Some of the other models they produce in batches until the edition is depleted or they decide to pause it in favor of another model. Usually out of stock means sold out but can always call them to confirm.

There are pictures of a 300T version that has what looks like no lugs, more of a curve shaped end link design. The "review" section has pictures of this design. Very different from the 300 anniversaries or any current Doxa. Do you know if that was the original design, or a later design? Looks like it may been used on an early version of the 750.

Forgot about that one that is the watch which doxa restarted the brand back in 2002 a completely different new design case unlike any other doxa previously and recently made, had a different bracelet as well no beads of rice

This website should give you lots of info:

    DOXA SUB 300T

Doc's pretty much the definitive Doxa expert.
