Stuck Bezel on 300T - Repairable?

I'm looking at getting a vintage 300T that's had a fairly tough life with a couple of nasty "dings" to the bezel, which no longer turns, I presume as a consequence. What are the chances of this being repairable?
In all other ways the watch is in fairly good shape for its age and would be worth restoring.
    Thanks

A lot depends on whether the blows to the bezel have actually distorted the bezel so that it is now "out of round" which may be a little more problematic. Many of these old watches build up dirt and grime under the bezel and eventually this stuff hardens to the consistency of concrete. If that is the case, just popping the bezel off, scraping and cleaning the underside of the bezel ring and the surface of the watch case where the bezel snaps in will solve the problem. If you do it yourself, be careful with the rachet spring that you don't lose it or break it. Should be a fairly simple fix. If you are going to have the watch serviced hands, dial re-lumed, etc. the watchmaker can sort out this problem as well.

Would spraying some WD-40 in there first
work? It may save some time, mess, &
    aggravation.

    Good suggestion!
That should work but this one sounds like the metal has distorted in which case removal is the only way. But definitely try a lubricant before that. Does it turn at all? You may need a pair of curved jaw pliers to work it free. Be carefull not to put too much stress on it though. It may get worse. If you don't feel confident in doing it yourself take it to a qualified watch repair shop or one of the guys here who does repairs.

Post pics if you can, but please don't use pliers on it!
