Toughts on this vintage Doxa Sub300T Searambler

Hello, i picked up this Sub 300T Searambler yesterday, its a bit beaten up. I like the dial with the Synchron logo, but i have some concerns regarding the bezel or bezel insert, i think it was replaced at some point, anyway i would appreciate any toughs or opinions !

I'll defer to others with more knowledge but looks right to me. I think the later Synchron Subs had the bezel insert.

Bezel inserts started with the Aubry era SUBs. This may be a transition watch or was retrofitted later. The problem is I'm not sure if the Aubry bezel would fit a Synchron case. All the bezels from the earlier cases were not interchangable. Does the bezel turn? If not then it was retrofit and "made" to stay on.

Hello, yes i heard that the bezels where not interchangable which gives me a bit of hope that this probably is the original bezel, it turns smoothly a bit to smooth for my taste but this might be due to wear.
I made some research online about this bezel insert but i didn't find anything... only picutres of various models 300t,600t, quartz... with this type of insert design.

He could have an original Aubry era case and bezel with a Synchron era movement, dial, hands, and case back.

Absolutely. It could be a factory franken.. which is actually not a bad thing in this case. For example the watch got trashed and was sent back to DOXA who just replaced the case with the more modern Aubry version as that's all they had.

Do those thigs affect the value of the watch? searamblers arent exactly cheap nowdays i guess its harder to describe the watch in case i would sell it someday.
