Anyone have photos of non PVD-coated (naked) Phantom?

Does anyone have photos of a non PVD-coated Phantom that they could either post or PM to me? I am considering purchasing an example, but don't have access to photos to see what one actually looks like. Thanks.

The Phantom has always had a PVD coating. Are you thinking of a Endurance B or the black Polar Surveyor by chance?

    This is the P.S.

Here is the Phantom, as it always has been sold.

I remember reading a post a while back about someone special ordering a Phantom without PVD...don't think it was ever a production option, though.

I know that Michael Kobold will pretty much make changes to a production watch if the buyer contacts him, and asks him to help out. If that's what your looking for, I would suggest calling Michael directly and see what he can do for you.

If you are looking for a non PVD chronograph, there are other options within the Kobold line. With basel coming soon, I would assume that some new watches should be released around that time, one which may fit your bill.

Of course, I see that you already own a Kobold P.S.

Kobold produces a "naked" Phantom, Hennes' in Pittsburgh has one or two of them. Kinda Kobold Kool. Looks like the Artic Diver without its black skin. Different though... for me, PVD is the way to go with the Phantom.
