What happened to all the threads in this group?

    Why were they deleted?

I believe there is a setting you can change that shows older threads.

Edit: I could be wrong. I canít figure it out, either.

2nd edit: I donít see the threads on Tapatalk, but they show up on a browser.

Re: What happened to all the threads in this group?

The shine on Kobold watches, placed there by us, the collectors, is off. The claims of donations to charities that never were not withstanding, messing with collectors and their pieces, is verboten. Those of us that own(ed), use(ed) and like(ed) Kobold's products were treated poorly by The Man himself. Michael Kobold allowing the company to fall to pieces, while shilling his non existent products to collectors killed this sub forum. While many of us still like the watches we have and/or once had, we can't really sing praise of the company or any of it's products, past or present. And furthermore, most of us try and steer any new collectors far away from Kobold nowadays for fear of some new folks falling down the rabbit hole we just climbed, or are still attempting to climb, out of.

It's too bad, but collectors of anything from cars, to guns to watches, are quick to abandon any company that abandons those who keep it afloat: we, the collector.

Go ahead, try and call the customer service and speak to someone regarding delivery time, stock on hand, etc...If you want a Kobold, buy used off the forum from a trusted member. Buy something you can have repaired/serviced by a local watch maker. Lots of scams and hucksters in business have "active" websites and hide behind the appearance on the internet of a viable, active business. Tread carefully around this company.

Thanks, itís a shame, watches look great and it would have been great to see another made in America watch brand with a high level product.
