    Pilot 3777-13 Potential Date Issue

I purchased my 3777-13 from an AD about 45 days ago. Occasionally I find the day slightly misaligned in the window, as if it did not fully change overnight (see photo). I can give the watch a gentle tap and it will generally snap into place so I have not been too sensitive to it but now I am wondering if it is a warranty issue? Can someone with a lot of experience with these 7750 movements chime in?

If it's under warranty, return it for sure. It will be covered

Definitely take it back to the AD and have it addressed under warranty. I also have a 3777 - that should not happen.

As with a lot of these date complication movements, you need to change the date according to the instructions, which dealers sometimes neglect to inform you of. The instruction usually specify something along the lines of not changing the date between 9pm to 3am as this can damage the movement.

Totally agree with this! I found out about this through research when in fact should have been part of the AD’s educational process.
