    Question on Pilot Chrono

    Hi All,

For some reason I recall trying on a few years ago an IWC pilot chrono, probably ref IW377701, and I remember it wearing pretty small.
Although I can see now these chronos are 43mm in size.

Does anyone know if a smaller version of these (40mm) was ever made?

The first in the Pilot series was the reference 3706, which measured 39mm. Is that the one?
I would search the Internet for info on the Pilot series because I find responses and participation on the IWC forum here is slow and limited in number. Not to criticize the folks who populate this forum! Most are genuinely very helpful.

nope, it was clearly the 3777, with the altimeter style date. 43mm is a big watch by all parameters, I wonder how it felt small?
