If you have already thought about selling it and taking a loss, then sell it and buy something that you want to wear. As for a beater, there are plenty of other options out there that are not as expensive as a Le Petit Prince Chrono on a SS bracelet.

In that case keep it. Unless you don't like the look of it, there is something wrong or you need money, there isn't a good reason to sell.

Selling a watch because of the movement, without something to replace it, seems a bit redundant.
