    Top Gun Perpetual Calendar???

    Hey everyone,

I have listed after the BP Top Gun Perpetual Calendar for a while now and my local AD just took one in on trade. Super minty!

    My question is...
I would have to sell my AP Royal Oak Offshore (rubber clad) to fund the BP.
What do you think? Good move or am I smoking crack?

It all boils down to personal preference...
The ap looks better on your wrist, the iwc is kind of too big IMHO, although it's a very appealing piece
Just my 2c, again that's some good problems to have... Best of luck deciding

    Top Gun Perpetual Calendar???

Ditto. The AP wears and looks MUCH better on your wrist. The IWC is way too big for you. Sorry.

and since you asked. personally i find the Perpetual dial too busy. i much prefer the Aperture Calendar type.
plus. it looks way too big on your wrist. if i were you and looking for a Calendar piece?. i'd pick the 44mm Portugieser annual calendar.

it comes in different versions. the rose gold one is gorgeous.
good luck and keep us posted.

The replies may be right, but hold a moment.

Your pictures are too close to your wrist. All watches look bigger than your wrist if you are close enough. Get a mirror and take a picture in the reflection, at a distance another would see it at. This will give a real perspective.

I have never been a Royal Oak fan, and I have the IW389001, so if the above works, I would go the other way. I've have my one 3 years, and not a scratch, despite several clashes with door handles and worse. The door handle always comes of worse. IWC makes the best ceramic pieces out there.

Yeah I agree. Close up make it look bigger on my wrist than it actually is I'll get a mirror shot!

A pilot friend of mine told me the proper way of wearing the IWC BP is over your jacket. Haha. So it doesn't matter if its big, it was made to be big and worn like that. :)
