    1938 Chrono

    Hi guys

I have some questions that you might have answers too regarding the 1938 Chrono with white dial and brass as on Stowa site.
Is the movement of such that when the Crown is pulled out it has to go through 2 stages as per a unit with a date function or is it a single stage.
Are the cases polished or Brushed? Or is there a option too choose.

    thanks

The date of a 7753 is not set by the crown. There is a separate pusher at 10 o'clock. Of course this pusher is missing with the cream 1938 chrono which btw. is not brass but bronze.

What does Stowa say ? "We build these watches in either a polished or manually fine matte finished casing."

All this and more is to be read on their web site.

Thanks Mike- now final question, buckle or deploy-I hear the deploys are a bit iffy on the thicker straps??

I've got both on buckle, also changed the Schauer Kulisse from deployant to buckle as well. Just not feeling comfortable with deploy.

I hear you- I think since it will be more dressy for me polished is fine- if I went with the black face the brushed would have been a no brainier for a brushed finish as it lends itself to be more casual with the right strap. The white face is unique but hard to dress down- and everything else I own is sporty ish.
