1938 Chrono v Marine Auto size

Sold my marine auto as always felt it was just too small, and was wondering is there much of a diff between it and the 1938? I know there is only a 1mm diff in case size supposedly but in pictures it definitely looks more? Trying to find out before I buy a 1938 and decide its too small as well.

Visually it looks larger due to the height of case. However, 41mm is 41mm.

The 1938 chrono is bigger and looks bigger. This is mainly due to the thickness which is 14.70 mm to compare with the 10.20 mm of the MA. The lug to lug distance is also bigger as well as the strap width.

I had the 1938 on a 6.75"-17.15cm wrist. It wore well, a bit longer than I was expecting and it is thick, but comfortable, very versatile, and well made.

Looks like you have a matt case on your 1938.
