    1956 Stowa catalogue on Facebook....

    Catalogue from 1956

Stowa are happy that they found an old (original) catalogue of STOWA, dating 1956.
This catalogue will help Stowa to verify older watches and to get some more details on STOWA's history. The team will scan it and launch it as a pdf file for download in the next weeks.

Very nice find - hope this gives them enough inspiration to bring out a vintage line. Or even just one model. My vote goes to 610259 first and 510260 as runner-up. I bet if Stowa offers these today in a reasonable size (say 39 mm) and a reasonable price (€600) they'd sell tons of them. Sign me up ....

Looking forward to seeing the entire catalogue

I quite like the tuxedo style dials. If they do reintroduce any vintage watches I hope they have the old logo.

I too am looking forward to seeing the catalog. I don't have or want a Facebook account so hopefully it will be available on the regular Stowa site.

Thanks for posting the photos here.

Very interesting. Even back then they still had that distinctive Stowa look.

Would love to see any of these reissued in 40mm size. Nice find.

I like them all, but those two stood out the most to me as well.

Agreed. I'd love for Stowa to offer a heritage line (Flieger, Marine, etc.), utilizing the classic logo, and use the new logo for the more modern pieces. Thankfully I have the classic logo on my Flieger and Marine, but I wouldn't purchase another heritage-inspired piece without the classic logo.

Now that is a great idea...maintain a Heritage Line with the old logo. I don't know if that idea would fly with Jorg but it makes a lot of sense. I have a Seatime Black Forest with the new logo and while that is just fine it seems a shame to use it on the traditional designs.

I think the new logo is such a big mistake. It's as if Coca Cola had changed to Arial
