All, I'm a brand new Stowa Antea Klassik 390 owner. There has been a lot of discussion over the dial color which looks quite nice.
My questions are these -

What does Stowa mean when they describe the dial as "silver coated"?
What kind or grade of silver is this?
Is the silver coating what gives the dial's sometimes "off-white" or light cream color? (I've never known silver to be this color. I always pictured silver as more gray.)
I wonder if the dial color isn't more related to whatever light color from above is reflecting off it? Incandescent light makes it appear cream; outside light makes appear more "silver" or white.

Thanks!
