    antea aftermarket blued hands

    hi

i have decided, like many of you, that i 'need' a stowa antea.

only thing is, i want one with blue hands but am not prepared to fork out the extra $300 for the 390.

so, are there any aftermarket hands available? or is there any way of painting them blue?

while im obviously happy that the people at stowa made such a beautiful watch, the removal of the blue hands option for the basic antea is really annoying!!

    thanks,
    mike

I definitely share your opinion. I'd advice to go for a used regular Antea with blued hands. Should not be that much of a problem in case you don't desperately need the watch tomorrow.

I've thought about this too, but I'm not sure blue hands would look right with the creme colored dial. I have seen blue hands for sale in my travels, maybe on eBay...

I decided to go with the Antea Black, but no delivery until January of 2010.

I think "blued" hands are perfect against the creme dial:

Right you are. The Antea is perfect in that combination.

    I stand corrected!

How 'creme' is the creme dial? Is it such a subtle difference that it's imperceivable unless compared side-by-side to a white dial? It's very hard to judge by the pictures on the site.

I think Langtoftlad's pictures show exactly how it will look.
