Antea - March at the earliest?

Hi - I'm new to Stowa and have just decided I'd really like to have a creme Antea with date. I've sent an email to Stowa asking about delivery and haven't heard back yet - it looks like I've got a wait that could be as long as next summer - is this really true? Do people wait months on end for Stowas? Do they pay up front?
I'm not sure I'd have any of my watches if it wasn't for the immediate gratification factor - is it worth the wait?

No paying up front they will contact you when yours is ready to be made. Worth the wait- yea for handmade excellent watches. I think so anyways

    Yes they do.

    Do they pay up front?
No they don't. You will be notified if the time is right to pay.

I'm not sure I'd have any of my watches if it wasn't for the immediate gratification factor - is it worth the wait?
Read the forum and you'll know. To cut a long story short: Yes it is worth the wait.

Currently you can get a 390 (ends today) and a regular one (6 days to go and a Buy Now Option available) in what I would judge very good condition at Ebay for an acceptable price I think.
(Just to add: I'm not the seller of any of the two watches)

This is pretty much what you get when you want a handmade watch by the ACTUAL maker working meticulously for it. Else if you want instant gratification like most of the other big names, those are mass produced in a factory by mostly robots and an assembly line of people putting together the rest of the parts.

    take your pick :).
    Yee olde box of watches:
    Tag Aquaracer (blue waffle face)
    Orient CFT00002M (orange skele face)
    Casio G-Cool (GT-000), prt-40, and a 18 year old casio (DW-1100),
    casio GWM-5600-1.

Thanks for the thoughts and info - 3 months isn't that bad and from everything I've read it seems like I'll be glad I did.

Well, there have been some of them:

    I love them all,
