    ANTEA Water resistance

    I can't find any information on the Antea's water resistance...is it 3 atm's?

Also....my request on the German forum hasn't generated much response...I'd love to see some wrist shots of the Antea....I'm really conidering the black dial, non-date with a brown strap.

    Thanks!

Here's mine, sorry not a wrist pic:

Not even a very good pic..lol
I can tell you though my Antea is one of my very favorite watches and you'll be well pleased. It's a tremendous value even with the blued hands and screws, like I got. As far as water resistance, mine never gets wet, so no problem there.

I responded to that post with a wrist shot yesterday - not sure if you've seen it.

Anyway the Antea is WR to 5 atm/50 meters.

    Best Regards,
    Brian

The Antea "Kleine Sekunde" is rated 3 atm, don´t know what the "regular" Antea is (probably the same ?) But in my humble opinion water resistance isn´t of any importance to the classic dress watches I wear; you don´t dive with it and you shouldn´t take a shower either ! :-D

Thanks gents....and Brian, yes I saw your's, great looking watch!

I never take my better watches anywhere near the water, i just like to make sure that getting splashed isn't a problem..I tend to wash my hands a lot....and will NEVER, take my watch off in a restroom, even at the office......my quartz beaters are meant for all outdoor activites with the exception of going for a walk.

    Thanks!

I have a new Antea, withOUT date (and not the Kleine Sekunde model). The case is engraved on the back with "5 Atm".

And it's a stunning watch! That spare Bauhaus style always gets me. I chose the black hands rather than blued. And the brown strap plays perfectly to the cream dial. Everyone I've shown it to loves it (and they're not watch aficionados either). I now own three watches I'll never sell, and this Antea is one of them.
