Any word on the 2007 L.E. Airman??

Maybe it is too soon to ask, but I sold off my Sinn and am looking for a replacement, but don't want to buy until I hear the specs. I don't like waiting :-D

    Hi Todd,
here the specs (let's say MY specs ... or better my desiderata :-D ):

    42-44 mm brushed S/S case
Domed sapphire crystal top and flat sapphire crystal back
Unitas 6498 with subseconds at "6"
Large crown (like the last IWC)
sword blued hands with Superluminova, and Superluminova indices on a matte black dial.

Wow--No offense, Engi, but I hope that's not the version that comes out. Here is what I'd like to see:

    42-44mm brushed SS case
    Domed sapphire
Solid back (with anti-magnetic inner case, as traditional)
    Unitas-base
    Center seconds
    Large crown, screw-down, 50+m WR
Sword hands, matte (maybe brownish) dial
    Traditional B-uhr dial.

I do think the center seconds and heavy, solid caseback are essential to the tradition of the watch.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

I agree that a solid caseback and center seconds would be cool. I think the crown should be an onion crown or like the one on the Archimede or IWC Big Pilot.

I was hoping the preliminary specs would be out, but I know that Joerg is busy. The waiting game continues.

If it is anywhere close to the quality of the Marine Original I'm sure it will be great! Also, I thought I saw a post a few days ago from Jorg that he was looking for movements at this point so the details can't be that far away.

On a personal note I would like to see a crown like Archimede/IWC....

    I agree.

But I am not so sure to what extent the antimagnetic inner case was present in all B-Uhren.

I have started a discussion about the inner antimagnetic case of the B-Uhren here.

    Daniel,

I think the screwed crown would not be suitable for an hand-winding movement...
What about a swan-neck regulation as per Marine Original?
And, as per many pilot watches, it would be fine to have hacking feature....

    Pic from Qahill's site.

    This would be sweet.
