Anyone wishes Marine logo looked different

I wish the 'STOWA' logo on the dial of the marine original looked little different.

More like the dial on vintage pocket watch picture from the Online shop or the dial on the provider. Smaller lettering and logo would be a big plus in my opinion. Other than that its a perfect watch. I would buy one in heartbeat but just can't get comfortable with the logo and font size.

Does anyone else agree with me? Maybe Mr. Schauer would modify the dial a bit. It could even be like a limited edition or something.

I don't think it is particularly large really, judging from the pictures in the webshop. But to each his own :)

I like it just the way it is. I don't think it would look good any smaller and yes I would by it in a heartbeat too. It's on my wish list.

I have no idea what you are talking about. This watch is as it should be, and the logo fits extremely well on the beautiful dial. It is easy to read, stubtle, and very unobtusive - not doubt much thought was given to it during the design stage. Nothing to change about this piece, nothing...

I think any good communications person would cringe at the suggestion that you should meddle with a logo in this fashion. The Stowa insignia is a central piece in the visual identity developed for this company. With all due respect, I think it is a very poor suggestion. You no like, you no buy; simple as that.

I agree. Photos on these forums tend to accentuate minutiae (not a bad thing--it gives us more to talk about!).

Don't get me wrong. I like it but I was wishing for a new LE WUS was in the works with a slightly different logo more like the vintage pocket watch logo. I really like Stowa watches and they present tremendous value. Most of all it is a company with exceptional customer service and attention to details.

I did not mean offend any existing MO owners, I swear :)

    Thats all.

How about an MO with no logo? That's what I just received from Stowa a couple days ago (mine's Roman). Here's a pic. I'm trying to figure out the reason for this.
