The blue ball is here ... what to do now?

O.k. guys, the blue spherical object and the very nice booklet have arrived, completing my Flieger Original no. 38/80.

Are there any pictures how to use the back-changing tool?

(Fortunately our toddling son was not around when the package arrived, or he would have snatched the "ball" and would have put it to a completely unhorological use. ).
    Cheers,

    Hi Martin,

you only have to press the ball against the caseback and turn your hand and the ball in anti-clockwise direction .
Friction between ball and caseback can be neglected: It's nearly like glued on.

In case your child somehow gets a hold of that Orb and decides to use it to play fetch with your dog, you can use a racquetball for the same purpose.

I've had great success removing and tightening casebacks by using a racquetball. The wrench I only use for casebacks that are really too tight to move or require a bit more to tighten.

With the FOLE, it does not require too much force, so that Orb is perfect.

Don't you just love that watch? There is now no more watch rotation. It's been on daily since receiving it and it's timekeeping and casework is absolutely spectacular along with every other aspect of its design/construction. The lume is up there with most any diver, even the Mühle Glashütte SAR Timer, Omega 2254 and a few others.

    Have fun!

    Glen

Yep, just press and turn. Its amazing that the ball works, but it does.
    Lots of dive watches.
