    Question Buying a MO?

Hey everyone, Ive been considering a MO for a while now, and as I get closer to my decision to pull the trigger, I cant help but think about the Limited edition model...and even the Roman model. But Im not too sure on where I can get more information on these. Ive seen people posting about the limited edition and roman MO, but I havent seen any info on the Stowa site with regards to their specs, pricing or availability.

Any way you guys could point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!!
    Cheers,

    Mike

A friendly e-mail to Stowa inquiring about these things will likely get a you a reply. Stowa should be back from vacation next week to answer you.
I once believed watch collecting was an acceptable vice.

The MO LE is only available pre-owned, as it sold out some time ago. The Roman MO is priced at ~EU870 for a polished case or ~EU920 for a brushed finish, per an email I received from Viveca Hafner. Prices subject to change, of course

Well first of all, they are very, very nice. I don't think there are any LE's left (I have #70), but I love the roman style they now have.

Here is mine. If you keep your eye on the sales forum, perhaps one will show up. If not, even the regular ones are really fine watches.

    Re: Buying a MO?

    Amazing pics!

Besides the dial having the red 12 and the red writing under the second section, what is the main difference between the non-le and the le? Is there a difference in the movement?

    Thanks

I received this e-mail today from Stowa:

"Our Marine Original with roman numerals will be offered from now on either with a new brown or black leatherstrap with white stiching 100 % made in Germany from one of the best German strap company with polished case for EUR 870,00/EUR 760,00 net or in matt case for EUR 920,00/EUR 800,00 net

You can as well choose a metal strap or a crocostrap.

If you want you can place your order directly here by mail - please let me know how you would like your Marine Original with roman numerals and I will confirm your order.

Payment will be due some days before delivery - not now. Delivery will be end of September.

    Best regards,
    [Stowa]"

    I'm ordering mine today!

    Re: Buying a MO?

Stowa informed me that the MO Roman is ready for delivery, so I sent the funds via paypal today. I was originally told mid to late September delivery time, so this is very cool indeed. The recent vacation must have re-enegized them.

I smell a reveal (gloat) picture thread coming up next week or so...
