Calling Antea KS owners. Question about crown.

    Hello there,

I read a feedback from a previous owner of a Stowa Antea KS watch. He said that the crown is about 2 mm higher than the case which prohibits the watch to stay flat.

Is this true? I hope his comment is by far wrong.

    Thanks in advance

I wouldn't overvalue this statement. He's just one owner out of 1000. I do not remember any complaint like that posted here or elsewhere. If you order a Stowa KS and it does not please you, your eyes, your wrist, you are entitled to send it back within a time frame of 2 weeks (14 days) and you will get your money back.
    Kind regards

Thank you Mike. My desire is to keep the watch, if that is gonna be a Stowa. Because I always put my watch in a table, it is really important to know that there is no "issue" with the crown. I hope someone who has a Stowa Antea KS, could confirm whether the crown is higher than the case or not.

    Thank you again

It's a little higher on the bottom. When wearing you don't notice it, because de lugs are bend.
So the lugs and crown sits evenly

Thank you Marco. Your photo cleared my doubts. One more question please. When you lie down the KS, does the caseback touches the surface?

No is doesn,t as you an see in the link Mike posted the lugs are bend.
And the caseback sits a little lower than the end of the lugs.

Re: Calling Antea KS owners. Question about crown.

This is the case with my KS: the crown is just a bit lower than the caseback, but i've never noticed it before. The bent lugs appear to be even with the crown, so although there's a tiny space between the caseback and a table top, the watch rests flat.
