    Can anyone identify this Schauer?

    Hi

I found this for sale on another website.

Can anyone help with some information:

    1) Is it a real Schauer (I didn't know there was ever a crown-at-3:30 model...)
    2) What is the diameter of this model (The seller says 40mm - I thought they were either 38mm or 42mm!)
    3) What was the original selling price?

    Thanks!
    Pete

Thanks Mike, I did not remember that model right away.
The diameter and the case shape (lugs and transition case to lugs) is still different. Also the coloration of the case screws. Prototype or something else?

    Hi guys

    Thanks for your replies.

The seller says that it has a 40mm diameter without crown and 42mm with crown. He also says that it is 12mm thick.

Here's another pic in case it helps....

With case markings No. 148 and rotor marks number 35 of 50 (limited edition) we really need Jorg to comment. It could be a low volume production special edition.

In 2006 there was a limited run of the Schauer Einzeiger Braun (one hand brown) with ETA 2824-2 and brown screws. 50 pieces. But I can hardly define the hand of the watch in the pic as to be brown. It´s black isn´t it ?!

Well I watched the auction, just to see, but I didn't bid 'cos it isn't my 100% must-have dream watch. (Thats the one on Jorges web site - the 42mm Einzeiger!)

It was ebay auction 180292729748 if anyone wants to see it - sold for $1250.

    Cheers

    Hello schauer fans,
    maybe i can help.
The case diameter is exact 40 mm, 11,2 mm thickness.
    Original price 1500,-EUR in 2006
It is limited to 50 pieces with "handbrowned" (not blued) onehand and 12 browned screws. A speciality from Jörg. In germany the dark brown croco strap was mounted.
I am the proud owner of number 32.
If you want pics, i can add.
    Regards
