Considering a Marine Auto, Wrist pics wanted!

Im considering getting a Stowa Marine Automatic but, at 40mm, Im afraid it will look to large on my relatively small wrist (6.75 in).

I would really appreciate any wrist pics you guys have, especially if you're wrist is a similar size! (adding the size would help too)

I have tried on other watches at 40mm but it really depends on the face for me.

You guys would really be helping me out! Thanks!

40mm really isn't that big for todays standards, maybe even is called small by some people...

Don't worry about it and just get one, even if you think it looks a little large at first, you will get used to it in soon enough.

I have several watches that are 45mm, and these make the stowas look small...

    Cheers,

Thanks for the response! And I do understand that by todays standards 40mm isn't large, however I am trying to find a classic piece that will work when styles fluctuate back smaller...

My wrist size is 6.5" and I think 40mm fit us small wrist guys quite nicely. 40mm is the perfect size for my wrist. I don't own a Marine but I do have a Stowa Flieger which has the same case as the Marine (Marine auto is polish while Flieger is brushed). The Flieger fits me well (see the picture I took). Because the Flieger or Marine has no bezel and all crystal both will wear large despite being "only" 40mm. I am sure a 40mm Marine will fit you very well. I had a 44mm Ticino Big Pilot before and it was too large. Also had a 42mm Laco Flieger and that was the largest size my wrist can handle.

So there you go. 40mm is the sweetspot and a great size! Jörg is spot on to keep his Flieger lineup at 40mm. Although 42mm is also okay I think.

would the MO work as a dress watch? Maybe on a mesh band?
