This is not a fairy tale or make belief: Miracles do happen, at least from time to time.
Here´s the very true story.
I just came home and flicked through my mail when a small parcel caught my attention. Originally it functioned as a box of chocolates (truffles of "Schwarzwälder Kirsch" to be precise).
It was wrapped with Scotch tape on the left and on the right side and kind of light weight. When opening the parcel I could feel the vague contours of a watch wrapped in a paper napkin. My wife asked what it is and I answered that I had absolutely no clue because I wasn´t waiting for a watch (no one on order, none won on ebay), the address given also didn´t ring a bell. So I went on and unwrapped that what I thought could be a watch....... and it really was.
Totally unexpected and to my complete surprise the parcel contained a handwind Stowa ladies watch from the 60ties in absolutely mint condition. No letter with it - nothing - just the sender´s address written on the outside of the parcel. What I can unveil here is that the parcel came in from Hamburg.
Miracles do happen though.
Here are some quickly taken shots.
