Do you think Stowa may eventually make?

A Stowa flieger between 44mm to 47mm diameter, sterile dial with a vintage DUROWE handwound movement (hack seconds)?

This would be a killer combo IMHO!

IMHO, if such a version appears, it certainly will decrease the value of original (41mm) versions. And it will make a lot of former buyers unhapppy.

No. Using a Dorowe hw movement and a 44mm to 47mm case is kind of a contradiction. Ever seen those relatively tiny Durowe movements. David and Goliath. No thank you.

then what about hand-wound caliber Durowe D5,
a pocket watch movement with a diameter of 49.63 mm?

...even if one does not go to that extreme as D5,
Durowe still had calibers 630, 632, and 635
with the size of 13 ligne = 29.33 mm.
of course, one can't call them really large,
but they are still larger than, say, 11.5 ligne-sized ETA 2801 or 2824

Yes, a watch can't be too big.

I also hope Stowa comes out with a digital version of the MO.

IMHO, Absolutely No. I like my FO because it is in minimum size for a large Unitas movement. I don't want to pay for a chunk of metal.

It would be fantastic to own NOS Durowe D5 but from historical point of view, I prefer it on LACO, not on STOWA.

It's not a matter of losing the 40mm-41mm version's appeal. I would personally like to own both. A 40mm-41mm and a 44mm-47mm Stowa.
