    DUROWE launching a new Internetside

    Hello,

today we want to launch the new Internetside of Durowe.
    Please have a look. http://www.durowe.com

Please be advised that we are planing to launch the new Durowe movement in Basel 2009 - hopefuly everything works like we supposed and all suppliers follow there timeplan.

Please do not ask more details till we have launched the movement next year.

A few matters are Top Secret and we don´t want to launch more than we have actual written.

But we want to share the project with our customers.

Maybe there are some ideas and comments which helps us to do the perfect movement and maybe there are some matters we can include in our basic idea. !

Just see this thread as a idea and comment thread.

STOWA always try to share the thoughts of our customers.

    Best regards

    Your STOWA Team

In the next weeks we will add some old STOWA watches which contents old Durowe movements.
Also we will show some Schauer watches from the last 18 years - also with old stock Durowe movements.

Please be advised that Jörg Schauer owns the brand DUROWE since the year 2002 and the brand is registered worldwide.

Schauer takes care more than 15 years about Durowe - he collect and bought many of old Durowe movements in this time.

Now he thinks it is time to relaunch this brand.

Still he has a few old stock movements he will put into new watches.

I have only one Durowe in my collection and my experience so far is very positive. Looking forward to seeing more Stowa/Schauer time pieces with Durowe. Nothing against ETA based watches, but it's nice to have a German "enginee" in a German watch

I'm wishing all the best and I hope this all won't finally be too much and Stowa / Schauer can and will keep the "small and friendly company" spirit.

I firmly believe that you will succeed.

.....and I agree with Hary: "...it's nice to have a German "engine" in a German watch"

    All the best,

    Volker
