Everyone happy with their Back to Bauhaus?

I've been poking around a good bit on the Stowa site recently, and have really been taken with the Antea Back to Bauhaus. The arabic numbers on the standard Antea just leave me feeling cold, but I've always been a sucker for kinda funky Arabic numerals like the Back to Bauhaus line. I've seen a couple more "official" reviews from watch sites, but haven't heard a lot of talk from people who actually own them. Is everyone pleased with them so far, or do you wish you had gone with the more standard Antea? Has anyone gotten tired of the slightly funky look?

not whole lot of people have the antea bauhaus, so i think you may not get as many reply as you would like, i didnt own any antea, but i view is, people who buy antea b2b likely to like the funky style, so i dont see why anyone should get tired of it. Furthermore, from the pics, it looks as equally stunning as the more historical Antea.

I think this is not the best way of introduce myself.
I apologise because my english is really bad. That is the reason of being a forum 'voyeur'. I own an antea 355 b2b since a couple of weeks. And I still love it. I think I cannot help you.
The crown in my antea is different from the picture you are showing us. And my impression is that numbers are smaller and more beautiful on my wrist.

I was almost at the point of buying it in december (black version) but same like you, i am afraid that i'd get bored with this funky design. I do somehow like it, but to me it just doesn't have that something special like the classic antea. If stowa would make a version with cheaper automatics (eg. sellita or miyota) to get in the range of ~600 eur i'd buy it in an instant.. but for 1k it's too much just because i know it wouldn't get enough wrist time. What a shame that stowa stopped making the classic antea black automatics:/

It will find it's place for some. Funky appeal for sure, and I too like it.

Re: Everyone happy with their Back to Bauhaus?

I got my 390 auto via the Advent Calendar this past Christmas, so I have not had it for long, but am happy with it. I am wearing it today, as a matter of fact.

With its polished case, it's dressy enough for work, but not overly dressy by any means. Not something I tend to reach for on weekends, though. The grey dots on the minute track and the grey color in the logo match up very well, and a display back with a nicely decorated and attractive ETA movement was a big plus, in my opinion. It has a date window that is big enough to be seen, but doesn't get in the way. Lastly, was very glad that I got the version with a central seconds hand.

Apologies in advance for my inferior picture taking skills..... For reference I have a 7 5/8 wrist.

I've had my B2B 355 for three months and it still makes me smile. Fun to look at, not too serious, but still classy. I do prefer the older style of crown, but, what can you do? My wrist is 7.5" and it doesn't look too small, IMHO.

The 355 caseback really look impressive.

Btw, Time+Tide posted a Antea B2B review today. Just FYI

I have had the black 355 for several months now and absolutely love it. I wear it to work mostly. Elegant yet different enough not to be boring. It feels great on my wrist and looks great too. Sometimes it's good to not get what everyone else has and be a big original. It works for me.

I like the B2B's quirky style. Just not sure I like it enough to spend the money on it, considering I already have one Antea... My gut tells me it wouldn't get worn very often.
