Question Flieger Automatik w/o Logo & 2801 LE

    Hi Everyone,
I like Pilot watches but am new to Stowa. Can anyone help with some information regarding the Flieger Automatik without logo and the 2801 LE?

What are the differences between the two? i.e. in terms of size, movement, pricing. I like the 2801 LE a lot but I guess it's not in production anymore.

    Thanks in advance.
    Nick

All your questions have been answered already in various posts/threads here on the Official Jörg Schauer & Stowa Forum - just use our search function.

The main difference between the two is the movement
    ETA 2824-2 automatic
    ETA 2801 hw
but both have the same pedigree. The ETA 2824-2 ist an ETA 2801 with a rotor.

The 2801 LE is sold out. The Flieger Autimatik is not. The 2801 LE is engraved on the case, the Flieger Automatik is not.

Specs of the 2801 (you may compare with the Flieger Automatik yourself)

Case: Matte Stainless steel, screwed caseback, 5 ATM waterproof
    Size: 40mm, thickness 10.20
    Movement: ETA 2801, hacking
    Crystal: Domed sapphire
Hands: Blued steel with Superluminova C3
Dial: Black matte, white printed, Superluminova C3 markers
    Crown: Onion crown
    Strapsize: 20mm
