    Flieger Chrono

I have to say how impressed I am with Stowa and their service. Great communication and patience working on a custom engraving I designed. This is one impressive watch too. Absolutely perfect friction-less rotor movement much smoother than my Mühle Seebataillon's. I added a bison leather aviator bund to their matching stock strap here as well. Apparently they're on vacation so this seemed like the best place to share the love I feel for that whole team over there!

Very nice. Looks great on the bund strap.

Thanks guys! Yes a bison. Lots of reasons 1) It's my company logo, which I drew
    2) I love all there is about bison for many reasons, from the superficial to socio-historical and anthropological reasons of my academic work
    3) he's charging in the image and therefore CHARGING the watch as the rotor and he move so it seems to be a 'bison-powered' watch. I thought that was just too cool.

The bund is bison leather and I have a hunch RIOS1931 makes Stowa's stock strap which would make it likely also bison, albeit a bit more stretched with reduced grain depth. I have two other lighter colored brown RIOS straps for it of bison leather and they are almost identical except the hardware I had to brush myself with a fiberglass pen.

Last night it kept perfect timing during its christening as I grilled pink peppercorn-imbedded bison burgers one minute and fifteen seconds on each side of a scalding hot grill. Most precise burgers I've ever made and somehow more satisfying because of this watch ;)

    Here's a better picture

Nice! Give us more shots of the watch. I'm interested in getting this watch, in handwound maybe if not auto.

Why regret when you can buy it back? Available at stowa.de near you.

I've bought and sold 2 autos (Stowa Flieger Chronos) and then bought the hand-wound version. Absolutely love it. 13.7mm height works better for me than the 14.7 height of the auto.
