    Flieger GMT in London

I am torn between two watches. The Mühle Glashütte Seebataillon GMT and the Stowa Flieger GMT.
Neither are exactly small, so even with a 7 3/4 inch wrist I would still like the opportunity to see how they fit.

Are there any Flieger GMT owners who work or live in central London who would be willing to meet on neutral territory and let me quickly try on their watch.

Apologies if this isn't the appropriate place for such a request as I'm something of a newbie to the forum in general.

P.S. Checking out the pictures here made me break out the brown strap I bought when I got my Flieger Klassik. I think it's nicer than the black somehow :)

Flieger GMT is same case as TO1 too, so you can check out TO1 pics for reference. Im with 7 inch wrist, and TO1 and GMT both fit well on me.

Yes I should have extended the request to T01 owners. It's an odd thing as I have a Sinn U1 I'm quite happy with but psychologically the uplift to 45mm seems to be an obstacle, hence the desire to reassure myself.

I read somewhere the case back on the T01 and GMT differ so they tend to sit differently on the wrist, has anyone else heard this.

Thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time to take those pictures. It doesn't seem to sit differently, yet you can see how the GMT back looks less flat than the T01.

Sorry, I'm late to the party. I'm in the States with my GMT. I've a 7.0" wrist (sort of flat). I can help w any pic requests, as long as my clothes are on.

Ive had the GMT for 8 mos and quite enjoy it. It is large and sits somewhat high. I don't wear it w a suit or dress shirts with cuffs buttoned. Sweaters, pullovers, dress shirts w/ rolled cuffs all work very well, IMO. Clothing tends not to slide easily over the watch due to the cylindrical side profile (as opposed to a smaller, rounded or domed side profile watch). I expected that w this watch, so wasn't surprised. If your cuff has exposed the watch, it will likely stay that way until you physically change it. Once again, I expected that and don't view it as negative.

It's a stunning watch. I'm impressed with it, and really enjoy wearing it.

    Flieger GMT in London

Many thanks for all the posts. In the end I decided to get the Seebataillon. I was torn but managed to find a good deal on the Mühle and also it sits low on the wrist. I do however feel like a GMT is still on the cards in the future once I've saved up some more money!!
PS Seebataillon pics over on the Mühle Glashütte forum.
