    Flieger Original with Durowe

    Hi everybody

I'm a real fan of german B-Uhr ans Stowas.
I'm just waiting for my airman LE (2801), and I'm thinking about my next stowa.
What do you think about the possibility to have a Flieger Original with a big german hand wounded Durowe movement (like Unitas) instead of the 6497
I think it will be the ultimate version of the airman and surely the closest to the original B-Uhr.

What do you think about it? And do you think it could be possible?
And if Jorg reads this message and if he wants to give us some informations, it will be a real pleasure.

    Another similar thread: https://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=208894

A vintage Durowe movement as large as an Unitas 6497/6498 (16 1/2 lines!) does not exist as far as I know. To develop a new Durowe would demand a lot of time and much more money.

The 7420 with center second hand was just 11 1/2 lines. However it would be possible to fit a 42mm case with a Durowe 7420 which already has been done by Heinrich Geisen

    .

Not sure Jörg will walk on the same alley.
