    FO Durowe Handwerk

    Hi all,
    what do you think of a LE:
    STOWA Fliegeruhr mit Handaufzugswerk Durowe 7420?
    what could be the value of such a piece?
    Thanks

    First of all:
    You are sure that there are sufficient Durowe 7420 in stock somewhere ?

    Second:

    There already have been some limited editions with that movement:

    LE Antea was 780 Euro if I remember correctly = 80

    The Flieger "Bremen 1167" with Durowe = 75 pieces

    The Flieger LE 2006 = 100 pieces (those sell used in mint condition up to 1450 Euro)

    Jörg Schauer Durowe

    I am not sure there is room for another LE

    (*) released earlier than 2006 and the 1450 well: imho Chrono24 price nonsense, the last one was sold yesterday at Ebay for a bit less...
    I was recently thinking about the question "How many watches with Durowe 7420 have been made?"

    What I can list and add to Mike:
    - Antea LE 2007 --> 80
    - Flieger 7420 --> 100
    - Flieger Bremen --> 75
    - Flieger 36mm --> 75 (only read about that watch in an announcement article so cannot exactly tell if ever released after announced...)
    - Flieger GMT (uses a 7421 with GMT so I won't count that 75 pieces when summing up)
    - a few Stowa "single pieces and the Durowe watch" --> 5? 10? 20?
    other Stowas: I don't think so but if anybody knows...
    - kleine Schauer --> 150? (Andrzej has one)
    - Kleine Schauer Phantom --> 50 (thx Andrzej)
    - other Schauer watches: imho possible, so if anybody knows...

    To sum up: >500-600 I would estimate from what I know

    The other question: On the one hand I think that there are some movements left but on the other I would also say that another LE with a Durowe 7420 won't be such a big thing.
    Regarding the value of such a watch there were some discussions regarding the additional price in case of the Antea LE over the regular one with a 2824. Jörg also replied and told in a sense that it is not only the movement but the additional effort for the different case and the like that adds up to the final price.

    Re: FO Durowe Handwerk

    Well, I was not asking whether anyone would like a new LE with a Durowe and if any were left, but what about those that exist already, like the Flieger Durowe 7420?
    Sorry for not being too explicit, but thanks for the quote interesting info I learned through the answers so far. I really like the LE Flieger with the displaying Durowe....

    Re: FO Durowe Handwerk

    Hi

    Just to add to the comments by Powermax, I confirm that I have a Kleine Schauer with the Durowe movement. This is a "one hand", with a limited edition of 50.

    I had thought that my 2 Kleine Schuaers from the original limited edition of 400 had Durowe movements till Powermax put me right!!

    Also the Day Date was originally issued with a Durowe, and a limited edition of 200.

    Regards

    Andrzej
