German strap for German watch? Fluco and Stowa

Just got this beauty in, and think it suits the Antea perfectly! Fluco Horween Shell Cordovan strap from Holben's. It's soooo smooth and supple and even smells amazing...I'm not sure I'll be able to go back to a standard leather strap again!

Great combo. I‘d add the Stowa buckle.

Oh, that's a great idea! Didn't even think of that.

Beautiful! Does the strap taper? What is the thickness?

It does taper, I believe from 20mm to 18mm. I believe it is around 2mm thick. The product page is here, though they are doing site maintenance at the minute.

Fluco Horween shell cordovan was also my favourite pairing.

Rios1931 is another German strap company that makes a fine shell cordovan strap. I don't think it would go well with the Antea since it is padded (6mm down to 3mm) but it works well on the MO and the Stowa buckle fits it.

Thanks I looked at those too. As you said, it's padded so not what I was looking for for the Antea, but that's a good idea about the MO. I've been thinking about getting a new strap for it too.

By the way, where can I find the Stowa buckle on their website? I looked but couldn't find it. Or do I need to email to order?
