    Help with strap length

    Hello WUS,

New to the forum and enjoying it so far. I'm ordering a Marine Auto very soon and was looking for some advice on strap length; I searched the forum and found only a little insight. I have a 6.75'' wrist. From what I can surmise I should be getting a small strap length but did not know if their regular straps wore smaller; I've also read of people with smaller wrists wearing the regular so I was confused. I would also like to add a deployment buckle and didn't know if that required a shorter or longer strap. Thanks for any help.

I have the same size wrist as you do. Most standard lengths are 120mm x 80m or 115mm x 75mm.

Larger or smaller straps adjust those numbers up or down accordingly.

Most of mine are 120 x 80 and they fit just fine, and you can fit a deployant on a strap and not alter its overall length when on the wrist.

Whilst not the exact same - I hope this helps:

My wrist is 6.5 inch and I found the standard strap on my Antea ideal. I was on the second to last hole and I had just the right amount of strap through the keepers. The short strap for me would have been too short.

IRO the deployment clasp I am unsure what effect it has on strap length, but it is better for the wearer and the strap IMO

Thanks for the advice. I emailed Sandra at Stowa and she also recommended a regular size strap as well. Now for the waiting.
